Planet Clean is a dynamic, local business providing expert green cleaning and consultation services to Florida's First Coast. We currently serve customers in the Saint Augustine, Jacksonville and Gainesville area communities.

We strive to keep this website engaging and rich with practical, interesting, and educational content that will benefit your quality of life. One of our goals is for this site to be an interactive community resource. If you have local events, markets, concerts, green businesses or other interesting information that you'd like to share, please email them to us and we'll post them to the site.

In a time when 'Green' is being applied to so many questionable endeavors, Planet Clean walks the talk... We are at the forefront of professional 'green' indoor environmental technical services — trained and certified in Green Theory, Analysis, and Methodologies.

We are not simply 'greenwashers' (housecleaners with a few environmentally friendly cleaning products in our kit). We continue to research and integrate methodologies and products that combine the best that nature and technology have to offer.

Our professional training is ongoing as the field evolves to address the myriad health issues related to indoor contamination associated with synthesized chemical cleaners, air fresheners and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) whose toxic residues and gasses cause illness.

Our services also address airborne bacteria, viruses, molds, animal dander, and other allergens through the use of specialized equipment and highly effective cleaning agents. In fact, we employ the same equipment used to clean operating rooms and high tech medical manufacturing facilities.

We're a learning entity and continually assess the many studies and recommendations published by medical research facilities and State and Federal environmental agencies as this critical health issue is addressed formally on multiple fronts.

Environmental toxins and stress are some of the primary negative factors affecting health, and choosing to allow toxic chemical cleaners into your home is never the right answer — no matter what the marketing hype says. We understand the relationship between indoor air quality and residual toxicity on human health — especially when it comes to children, the elderly, and those with allergies, asthma, or impaired immune systems.

Here at Planet Clean, wellness makes more sense to us than medical treatment.

Life is more fun and our options are richer if our loved ones are healthy — we'd rather be on the beach with our kids than at the doctor's office. Having said all that, we also intimately understand the challenges of balancing family, home, and work with the hidden health, environmental, monetary, and time costs of home maintenance.

We understand — our kids grow up too fast, our dogs are begging for a walk, we need to take time to take care of ourselves, work is demanding, housekeeping is falling behind... all this and we have a responsibility to our kids and the environment as stewards for future quality of life.

Household maintenance is stressful, yet we don't want to compromise health and safety for the expediency of the common toxic chemicals marketed to consumers. Chemical manufacturers invest heavily in campaigns to capture market share, gain prominent exposure in stores, and normalize consumer perception that clean = synthetic chemicals flavored to mask their caustic odors. And this is just the tip of the iceberg...
